About Ciara

Rooted in story, shaped through film and image.

Ciara Foran is a filmmaker and photographer from Killarney, Co. Kerry. Her work centres on original fiction and documentary storytelling, with a focus on thoughtful, visually led narratives. Working across writing, directing, and camera, she brings a hands-on approach to each stage of the process.

Alongside her film practice, Ciara develops photographic work and has collaborated on a range of projects across Ireland. A graduate of Film and Screen Media at University College Cork, she is currently working through the Irish language, with a growing body of work reflecting this direction.
